Membership

How do I change the address on my membership? 

Visit your online account, where you can update your physical address, email address and phone number. If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us

I’ve married / changed my name. How do I update my accounts? 

Log in to your online account and select “Manage Settings.” Here, you can update the name on your membership. If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us

I’ve lost my membership card. How do I get a new one? 

Request a replacement membership card and/or print out a temporary card with your online account.  If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.

I am unable to log in to my account (my email / password combination is not working or I saw a “Membership is Expired” message). How can I log in? 

We’re sorry you are having issues logging into your online account. We continuously look for ways to improve the online experience for our members. If you already tried the Forgot Password link and were unable to retrieve your account credentials, please call Member Services at (800) 562-2582 for assistance. 

How do I add or remove a Household Member from my account? 

Household Memberships (Associate Memberships) extend your AAA services to anyone residing at the same address and any children away at school. To add a Household Member, log in to your online account and select “Add Associate.” If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.

Household Members are covered for the duration of your membership year and can only be removed during the renewal period. When you complete your renewal online, you are given the option to also renew your Household Member(s) for the new membership year. 

What benefits does a Household Member receive? 

Household Members (Associates) get all of the benefits that the Primary member receives at a fraction of the price. Benefits include four emergency road service calls a year (towing, flat tire change, fuel delivery, battery jump, lockout services and extrication), free travel planning services, discounts on travel and auto insurance purchased through AAA Washington, and discounts at hundreds of businesses. You can find a list of our discount partners at AAA.com/discounts.  

The Primary account member has passed away. How do I remove them from the account?

How do I opt into or out of auto renew? 

If you are on an annual payment plan, you may opt in to or out of auto renew within your online account. The change will take effect with the start of your next membership year. If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.   

How do I cancel my membership?

I’ve moved into or out of Washington / Idaho. How do I transfer my AAA membership? 

Please give our Member Services team a call to assist with your membership transfer at (800) 562-2582

How can I downgrade my membership level? 

Your current membership tier is active until your membership term expires. If you are looking to downgrade before your renewal period, the change will take effect with your new membership term. Please contact our Member Services team at (800) 562-2582

Roadside Assistance

What’s the best way to request roadside assistance? 

Use our online request system on your smartphone, laptop, or tablet by typing AAA.com/Service into your browser (and bookmark it for future use!) You can also use our free mobile app. Lastly, you can contact our call center at (800) 222-4357 to speak to a representative.  

How many roadside service events do I receive each year? 

Each cardholder is permitted up to four roadside assistance calls per membership year. AAA Plus RV and AAA Premier RV memberships provide towing and winching for eligible trailers, motorhomes, and pickup trucks with campers to a licensed repair shop or the home address on file. For these vehicles, AAA will pay up to $500.00 per call with a maximum of $1000.00 total per household over the course of the membership year.

If I paid to have my car towed, will AAA reimburse me? 

If service is not available through AAA, and the member has followed the guidelines on the terms and conditions page, the member may obtain service from a licensed emergency roadside service or tow provider, pay for it, and submit a legible copy of their receipt showing proof of payment and a breakdown of charges. Submissions must be sent within 90 days from the date of service for reimbursement consideration. Receipts must be in the AAA member’s name. 

AAA will reimburse the member up to $500.00 for the cost of eligible emergency roadside services. If AAA ERS is available, but is not requested or utilized through AAA and the procedures outlined in the terms and conditions, reimbursement will be subject to the prevailing contracted rate that AAA pays to its service providers. 

Reimbursements can be submitted by email to Reimbursement@aaawa.com. Please mark out any sensitive payment information such as credit card information, and submit your legible, itemized receipt and a completed Service Reimbursement Form using the above guidelines for consideration.

How do I order Maps? 

You can place orders on our Travel Publications page. You will need to log in to your online account; if you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us. Our apologies, but we no longer offer TourBooks®.  

How do I order a TripTik or travel directions?

Passport Perks

What are the Passport Perks AAA WA benefits? 

As a AAA WA member, you get the added benefit of Passport Perks giving you access to discounts and offers locally for everyday activity including food, shopping, fitness, entertainment, childcare and so much more. Think of Passport Perks as a digital coupon book on your phone giving you discounts on your daily activities.  

I am interested in becoming a AAA WA member, before I join, how may I check out this benefit?  

If you are not an AAA WA member yet, guests may preview AAA WA Passport Perks.  

Where do I find Passport deals? 

You can locate deals on either the AAA Washington Passport website or the Passport Mobile app (iOS Mobile App or Android Mobile App). We highly recommend putting the Passport mobile app on your phone for the best experience using your coupons around town.  When redeeming a deal at a local merchant, click on the offer and follow the instructions to use your discount at the time of purchase.  

Do I still get my AAA national discounts and rewards?  

Yes! All AAA members get discounts and rewards for large national brands regardless of where you live.  Additionally, as AAA Washington member you get exclusively local discounts via Passport perks.  

To access and use all your offers, remember to check AAA Washington Passport website or the Passport Mobile app (iOS Mobile App or Android Mobile App) for local perks and explore the AAA National Merchant List for all big national brand discounts and rewards. 

What kind of emails will I receive from Passport? 

Depending on the preferences you select in your Passport profile during initial setup, you may receive different emails. In general, Passport will send you updates on new discounts, themed emails, seasonal offers or general program deals. Passport’s emails are separate from emails sent by AAA Washington.

What happens if I don’t renew my AAA WA membership? Can I still access Passport? 

Your membership in the AAA Washington Passport Perks program is directly tied to your AAA Washington membership. To retain access to the Passport Perks benefits, you must have an active AAA Washington membership. Follow this link to renew your membership.
